DSCOPE is a high quality microscope solely designed for fiber optic connector endface inspection. DSCOPE makes no compromises on quality, with precision optics and the most homogeneous illumination in the industry. The foundation of any precise optical system is high quality optical components and even illumination.
Data-Pixel realized that the vast majority of microscopes being used in the industry today suffered from a poor illumination design, yielding sub standard optical performances, and large variations in the number and size of artifacts seen on connector endface surfaces between microscopes, even those from the same manufacturer.

To overcome this performance flaw the DSCOPE is based on a true Koehler light-source for the best possible illumination quality and homogeneity.

DSCOPE aims at bridging the gap between low-cost poor quality scopes and the general purpose high-quality, high cost laboratory scopes available on the market today.

The combination of the Data-Pixel Blink software and DScope microscope provides the ultimate visual inspection station for fiber optic connector surface defect analysis providing an instantaneous pass or fail.

This is accomplished by using the latest innovations in image processing providing a system that is unparalleled in the industry for speed. With the addition of the auto-focus this system will produce operator independent results based on user defined templates in just a fraction of a second from inserting the connector into the fixture (the blink of an eye).
Results are automatically exported to a customisable measurement reports.

PM alignment

General Details

Software for automated angle measurement of PM fibers’ strain elements.

PM alignment is a software for the precise and automated measurement of the orientation of the strain elements of Polarization-Maintaining fibers (PM Fibers). Combined with DScope microscope or KoncentrikV2 unit this software uses state-of-the-art shape recognition software technology in order to achieve precise, fast and robust measurements. Measurements are displayed in real-time on screen.

Long working distance PM Aligner

General Details

A complete solution to align Polarisation Maintaining fibre in a connector.

The PM ALIGNER will enable you to accurately mechanically align the stress elements of a PANDA Polarisation-Maintaining fibre with the key of a connector.
It features an exceptional long working distance offering the operator a spacious workspace between the optical measuring head and the connector endface.
The BLINK-PM software module will measure in real-time the angular alignment of the stress elements and let the operator rapidly position them to the required angular position.
